Jacob Waters

With an acoustic-folk sound equal parts Bob Dylan and Elliott Smith, Jacob Waters has been playing his songs throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey since 2005. After the release of his self-produced debut album Origins (2006), Jacob was awarded a slot in the Beta Hi-Fi Festival Emerging Artists Showcase at World Cafe Live in Philadelphia. In April 2008 he released his sophomore album "Blue-Eyed Son" which was downloaded more than 400 times in the week after its release. The success of the album landed him a show at the famous Rockwood Music Hall in New York City
Since then Jacob has been busy writing and performing. In Fall 2009 he crossed the Atlantic to play a number of shows in London, including a performance at the legendary Hope & Anchor. His new album is slated for release in early 2010.
